These terms cover our phone line, this website, and any text messages or automated calls we send. By calling us or using this site, you agree to them.

What this service is

Genesee County Restoration is a trade name of Domina Holdings LLC. We are an independently owned referral service. We take your details and pass them to a licensed, insured local restoration contractor, who then contacts you directly.

We are not a restoration contractor. We employ no crews, we perform no restoration work, we do not supervise the contractors we refer you to, and we do not set their prices.

Your relationship with the contractor

Any work you agree to is a contract between you and that contractor — not with us. The contractor is an independent business responsible for its own licensing, insurance, workmanship, scheduling, pricing, and conduct. We are not a party to that agreement and are not liable for the work performed.

We encourage you to confirm licensing and insurance, and to get the scope and price in writing, before work begins.

Emergencies and safety

Anything our intake line says about safety, such as suggesting you shut off your water if you can safely reach the valve, is general information only. It is not professional, engineering, plumbing, or safety advice, and you should use your own judgment about what is safe to do.

What we promise, and what we don't

We answer the phone around the clock and work to get your details to a local contractor quickly. We do not promise how fast a contractor will arrive, that a contractor will be available at any particular time, or that any contractor will take your job. Availability depends on the independent contractors serving your area.

Recorded calls

Calls to our line are recorded, and a recording notice plays at the start of every call. By continuing the call after that notice, you consent to being recorded. If you prefer not to be recorded, hang up before speaking.

Text messages and automated calls

Text messages and automated alert calls are transactional — we do not send marketing or promotional messages.

• Homeowners: after you call and ask for a contractor callback, you may receive one confirmation text about that request.
• Contractor partners: after agreeing verbally on a recorded onboarding call, you receive one message per lead, typically fewer than fifteen per week, and may also receive an automated voice call with the lead details.
• Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
• Reply HELP for help. Reply STOP to stop receiving texts.
• Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Insurance

We may mention that certain kinds of water damage are often covered by homeowners insurance. Whether your loss is covered depends entirely on your own policy and your insurer's decision. We make no representation or guarantee about coverage, and we do not act as your insurance adviser or public adjuster.

Using this website

The content of this site is provided for general information and is offered as is, without warranties of any kind. We may change or remove content at any time. The site's text, design, and marks belong to Domina Holdings LLC and may not be copied or reused without permission.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Domina Holdings LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this service, from any contractor's work or conduct, or from any delay or failure in connecting you with a contractor. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of laws rules.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms we will update the date at the top of this page.
